Isaac Filsell
Isaac Filsell
Bassist, band leader and co-owner of Wulktown.
Drawing heavy influence from bass legends such as Jaco Pastorius, James Jamerson and Joe Dart, Isaac works with Alfie to lay down a groove to create a pocket for the other members of the band to sit in. Isaac is also responsible for a lot of the band's creative direction outside of the music - editing videos and managing the social media accounts.
Alfie Evans
Alfie Evans
Drummer and co-owner of Wulktown.
Despite being the youngest band member, Alfie is one of the most musically mature members of the band as his drum grooves are a vital part of Wulktown's sound. Influenced by the tight simplicity of Nate Smith's drumming in the Fearless Flyers, Alfie plays with machine-like precision to nail every beat he plays which is crucial for the other band members as he holds the entire band together.
Declan Stephenson
Declan Stephenson
Keyboardist and vocalist for Wulktown.
Although not primarily being a funk musician, Dec is the melodic and harmonic backbone of Wulktown with his intricate keys playing and soulful vocals. Dec brings a very different style to Wulktown than the other band members which he balances well with the modern funk sound of the band, creating a fusion of genres to give Wulktown a more unique sound that is constantly evolving.
Jay Hallett
Jay Hallett
Lead rhythm guitarist and producer for Wulktown.
Razor sharp instrument skills make it hard to compete with Jay on musicianship. Top tier technique combined with an excellent knowledge of music theory and production techniques makes Jay a real asset to the band as his Cory Wong inspired technique is a solid staple of the Wulk sound. Jay manages a lot of the songwriting and structuring for Wulktown's music due to his ear for how a tune should go structurally and he also handles the recordings, production and mixing.
Dominic Wong
Dominic Wong
Guitarist and vocalist for Wulktown.
The newest member of Wulktown who is proving to undoubtably be a great addition to the band. Originally being brought in as a guest collaborator, the other four members voted unanimously to keep him on as a core member. Dom has a very different playing style to Jay - often adding small embelishments over Jay's frantic chords which complements his playing rather than competes with it and adds another layer of harmonic depth. He is also an extremely talented vocalist and he often sings duet vocals with Dec.
